FOR LANDLORDS CONSIDERING GUARANTEED RENT
Guaranteed rent gives you a fixed monthly payment, usually 10 to 20% below market rent, and the operator keeps everything your property earns above it. Managed short lets pay you what your property actually earns, minus a management fee. Selected Valore property comparisons projected up to 50% more net income from professionally managed short lets than comparable traditional lets. That is why Valore no longer offers guaranteed rent: we would rather you keep the upside.
The honest trade-off.

Guaranteed rent
Fixed rents are typically 10-20% below market rent, and everything the property earns above them goes to the operator. Not to scale.
Managed short let with Valore
To scale. On our twelve-month plan, 16.5% + VAT is about 20p in every pound.
Why we stopped offering guaranteed rent.
We used to offer it. We stopped, because the maths kept telling the same story: on well-managed properties, landlords were leaving serious money on the table for certainty they rarely needed. If your priority is truly fixed income, some operators still offer it and we will tell you honestly if that suits your situation better. For most landlords, professional management earns meaningfully more over the year, and our monthly statements make the income easy to plan around.
What certainty looks like without the cap.
Every rate published
All three rates are on the fees page, with a £150 monthly minimum.
Paid on the 5th working day
Monthly owner payments with a clear statement.
Everything managed
Pricing, guests, housekeeping, maintenance, compliance and reporting.
Guaranteed rent, answered straight.
Straight answers, no sales spin.
What is guaranteed rent?
A scheme where an operator becomes your tenant and pays a fixed monthly rent, keeping everything the property earns above that figure. The fixed rent is usually set 10-20% below market level, so it provides certainty but caps your upside if the property performs well.
